Hi, I’m the creator, editor, producer and voice of Get Flushed, a weekly podcast dedicated to the global sanitation industry. Get Flushed was born out of my frustration at the poor quality of the portable toilets I encountered on work sites or at festivals and events. I don’t believe that anybody should be forced to suffer a dirty toilet. Restroom operators can do better and toilet users should expect - and deserve - clean and hygienic facilities. And so I started Get Flushed. Since then, I’ve become aware that poor sanitation and wasteful sanitation is a growing global crisis that needs immediate action. Get Flushed is published on Podbean and listed on all major podcast platforms. It has a global audience and was reviewed on the BBC’s Radio Podcast Hour in September 2020. As for me, I live on the road in New Zealand 🇳🇿 in a caravan and I’m a born-again freshwater fisherman 🎣. I sometimes publish episodes of another podcast, That Kiwi Caravan Show.
