I am the first Holocaust survivor of Clubhouse and live in Harlem, NY. As a motivational speaker, I speak to people all around the world about the lessons of the Holocaust. About me 📚 I was born on December 21,1939 and from 1941 through 1944, my parents and I were deported, by the Romanians, to Mogilev-Podolsky, a labor camp in an area called Transnistria, Ukraine. Subjected to Nazi medical experimentation, my life was saved by a German woman when she saw the physical signs that I was dying of starvation. The camp was liberated by the Red Army and I grew up in Transylvania, Romania. In 1961, the entire family immigrated to Israel and I served in the Israeli Air Force. In 1968, I came to US without money or language.
